USA Grants INC WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Purdue University is among 21 recipients of USDA and Department of Energy biomass research and development grants. USA Grant INC Purdue will receive up to $1 million to develop a low-cost, high-yield process for direct production of high-energy density liquid fuel from biomass. USDA and DOE will invest up to $181.4 million over three years in the biomass research and development, pending congressional appropriation.
